Building Bridges

The Building Bridges School program provides opportunities to learn in a non-traditional environment, focusing upon the unique individual needs of the students. This alternative educational placement is for students experiencing a risk of school failure due to academic, social, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges.

The program is based upon a team approach that involves the students, the parents, the home-school personnel, and the staff. Building Bridges School offers smaller classroom sizes and educational and professional staff who are trained to provide students who struggle in traditional academic settings with effective educational, behavioral, and emotional services. The ultimate goal of the program is to help the student develop the skills necessary to re-enter their home district school setting.

The Building Bridges School program services Ashtabula Area City, Buckeye Local, Conneaut Area City, Geneva Area City, Grand Valley Local, Jefferson Area Local, and Pymatuning Valley Local school districts.
